Manage and develop
accounts in a sub-section of New England. Must have drive and PLC
knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge to customers'
machine control needs. Most customers have existing
relationships with RT Engineering so that bulk of the field sales work
would entail quoting on real projects rather than knocking on doors to
prospect for opportunities.
Troubleshoot, start-up, program Analog and Digital controls-AC & DC
drives, servos, PLC's and touchscreens. Must have strong background
in web-handling and wire & cable applications. Over eighty percent of
field work performed in New England.
Provide pre-sale support for quoting engineered control systems for
web-handling and wire & cable applications utilizing analog and digital
controls-AC, DC, servo's, PLC's, touchscreens and industrial PC's.
Post-sale, program the control software, interface with schematic
design engineers, and test the programming and overall system performance
before shipment. EE helpful but not required. Includes some field
start-up and troubleshooting of control systems, primarily in New
England.
Design electrical schematics-using CAD software-for control systems
focused around analog and digital controllers-AC, DC, servo's, PLC's,
touchscreens and industrial PC's. Must have knowledge of web-handling
and wire & cable applications. Will Interface with application engineers
and production personnel to ensure high-quality and on-time production.
EE helpful but not required. Some field assistance for start-up and
troubleshooting may be re required.
Purchase electrical control components and products from established
vendors. Must be detail-oriented and energetic with strong phone and
interpersonal skills. Will be responsible for multiple general administrative
tasks, including sales and service support, phone support, light marketing,
light data entry, and other related tasks. Three or more years of
office and PC experience required.
